Global Source Linx takes the guess work out of receiving shipping containers. The web based application exposes your purchase orders to your overseas (or domestic) vendors, who log in and select the POs or items on a PO (partial) as they are packed in the shipping container. Once the container is packed the web based system creates a bar-code, known in the industry as a license plate that can be posted just inside the door of the container. This allows for the recipient to simply scan the license plate and instantly be informed of what inventory is in the container.
