January 11, 2012: Pinstripe Advances Products Division
Pinstripe Incorporated announced today that the company has officially launched a new products division that is tasked with conceiving and implementing software applications to target small-to-medium sized business and consumer markets. The division, led by Vice President Dan McConkey, has been working behind the scenes since January of 2010 to prepare for this launch, with high expectations for Q1 of 2012.
"Pinstripe is already well known as a problem solver," said McConkey, whose 15 years of product marketing experience and nearly 20 years of software development experience will be heavily leveraged throughout the go-to-market process. "Since 2005, we’ve been listening to our customers tell us their problems and meeting those problems head on with genuine top-line/bottom-line business solutions. This experience has given us a valuable insight into specific needs whose solutions can be mass-marketed."
Pinstripe is committed to the new endeavor and is funneling considerable support into it. "We’ve hired three new members of our functional management team to support this growth," said Pinstripe CEO Dan Colby, himself a 25-year veteran of providing business and technology solutions to US and international markets. Colby continues: "I wouldn’t do this halfway, and our aggressive goals can only be met by finding the right personnel." Pinstripe, whose annual revenue has doubled each of the last two years, recently hired a full-time in-house corporate recruiter to fill the immediate job openings required to fuel this and other key objectives in 2012.

December 2, 2011: The Data Center at Packard Place Launch Party
You're invited to be a part of our next major initiative! December 14th brings the launch of a new concept in data centers. As an extension of what we are already doing at Packard Place, we plan to create a co-operative of sorts where like-minded Charlotte-based technology firms can leverage The Data Center At Packard Place by giving them access, visibility and collaboration in a way that is not available in any other data center.
The co-operative, or consortium if you will, allows small- to mid-sized entrepreneurial IT firms to have a footprint in the data center, collaborate with other entrepreneurs, have direct access to the incubation process at Packard Place, and all while participating in the co-share benefits of the Greater Packard Place Initiative!
If you are part of Charlotte's technology entrepreneurial community, we welcome you to learn more about our plans and participate in creating something the marketplace has never seen. Participants will have a seat at the table to help us decide how the Co-Operative will unfold.
The launch party will be held on Wednesday, December 14th from 6:30 to 8:30 PM in the Data Center itself on the ground floor (1 Mezzanine) of Packard Place. Pinstripe Incorporated is proud to be a founding member of this initiative!

Dan Colby, President and CEO, of Pinstripe Incorporated recently
inspired 32 budding entrepreneurs, highlighting the risks, rewards and
passions of entrepreneurship when Junior Achievement visited Packard
Place for an event geared towards helping grow their futures.
In a fun activity, Dan passed out a single dollar to each of the
youth, congratulating them for being employees! But he proceeded to
ask which was interested in risk. Half the group was brave enough to
“invest” their dollar, giving it back to Dan in hopes of receiving a
higher return. Some of the kids ended up with more money and some lost
it all, but they all walked away with a deeper understanding of what
it means to be an entrepreneur.

March 18, 2011: Press Release: A Presence Uptown
Pinstripe Incorporated recently moved our home operation from the NoDa district to uptown
Charlotte in order to better serve our clients’ needs, as well as to accommodate our rapid growth.
Now located in Suite 300 of 222 S. Church Street in uptown Charlotte, Pinstripe, Inc. is at the heart
of a thriving business center.
Our firm is now housed in a 90-year-old building that was formerly a Packard car showroom and
garage: the aptly named Packard Place. Property owner Dan Roselli has grand plans for the building itself,
as well as its future tenants. He hopes to return Packard Place to its roots of vision and innovative strength.
Husband and wife entrepreneurs Dan Roselli and Sara Garces rescued the foreclosed building at
222 S. Church Street. They dreamt of satisfying a previously unrepresented niche in the uptown Charlotte
area: other entrepreneurs and start-ups.
“All that’s missing from uptown is entrepreneurs,” Roselli says. “All the elements are in
place. We just need a spark. I think this can be the spark.”
If all goes as planned, Packard Place will serve as a centralized Charlotte location for
entrepreneurs. Boasting a ground-floor café and an upstairs 200-seat assembly hall, the building will
provide a meeting and networking location for not only the start-up sector, but also for educational and
investor groups. Plans also exist to begin construction on a Knights baseball stadium directly behind Packard Place.
If anyone is familiar with the namesake of Pinstripe, Inc., the location will seem eerily perfect.
The company name originated from Dan Colby's love of baseball, classic cars, and business. All three sources
of inspiration seem to fall together at this location.
Pinstripe Inc. marks the first tenant under Roselli’s ownership. At the helm stands CEO Dan Colby,
eager to see the results of Roselli’s vision for a central hub for innovators, entrepreneurs, and community.
“It’ll be interesting to see if Roselli can bridge the gap between what’s happening uptown already
and what’s going on with entrepreneurs,” he says. “I’m not necessarily making a real estate decision,” he adds
regarding his move to Packard Place. “I made this decision on a business hunch. If this ends up being what Dan
Roselli wants it to be, then it was too good of a deal to pass up.”
